New Year's Eve

Belated New Year's Eve mani.
First of all: Happy New Year!

While on holidays I broke a ring finger nail very badly, so this time my little sister lent me her nails.
But on my holidays not only broken nails happened, I took the opportunity to buy the interesting polishes by Dance Legend, which are sold in Belarus in shops.

One of the first purchases was the "chameleon" polish, better known as duochrome. The base colour is deep blue and it turns purple at some angle of view (look at the point and middle fingers). It's the nuance 091 Boggs.

The white accent nail was done with Yves Rocher tiny "vial" of Blanc neige.
The images on all nails except the thumb are from Sugar Bubbles New Year and Christmas plates.

And the fireworks on the thumbs are stamped with Bunny Nails festive plate HD-E. I took different metallic polished for it, because the fireworks are usually colorful. :)

My sis is holding another polish by Dance Legend, I'll write about it later.

Catrice Siberian Call Rest In The Forest

Выпадкова набыла яшчэ адзін лак із калекцыі "Гуканне Сібіры" з назвай, якая нагадвае казку "Марозка", дзе дзяўчына, пакінутая ў зімовым лесе, трапіць на Марозка і робіць выгляд, што ёй не халодна і яна "адпачывае".  Гэты лак названы "Адпачынак ў лесе" ("Rest In The Forest"). Лак празрысты з ружоваватым шымерам. 

Just by chance I bought another polish from the collection Siberian Call. It's called "Rest In The Forest" -yeah, funny name. :) It reminded me of a Russian fairy tail "Morozko", where a girl is abandoned to the winter forest, then she meets Jack Frost and pretends to be warm and relaxed.

The colour is like the one of "Sky and Snow", also sheer with shimmer in more pinkish tones.

Зноў ішоў снег, так што Сібір гукае літаральна аж да Нямеччыны. :)

It snowed once again, so "Siberian Call" is literally present here. :)

Я дадала яшчэ некалькі слаёў, каб закрыць пазногці цалкам. І каб было больш зімова настэмпіла зорачкі з шаблону Sugar bubbles store Special 02.

I added some more layers, maybe there were 5 or more to cover nails completely.
A bit more snowing or star-snowing with Sugar bubbles store Special 02:

Каб атрымаць далікатны і непразрысты бэзавы колер я змяшала белы лак для стэмпінгу з проста ліловы лак.

For the stamping I mixed white stamping polish with some lilac - it produced very tender shade of lilac which was not lucent:

Думаю, што "Адпачынак ў лесе" будзе таксама добра выглядаць і паверх якога-небудзь колера.

I guess "Rest In The Forest" also looks well as a top coat.

Heaven on Earth

Сёння на мае пазногці спусцілася неба - "Неба на Зямлі", так называецца адзін з лакаў "Місслін" нямецкай фірмы ICB innovative cosmetic brands GmbH. Іх сайт знаходзіцца тут. Па кошту лак не самы дарагі, але з амаль што 5 еура і не самы танны. Фірма сцвярджае, што суадносіны цаны і якасці ў іх найлепшыя. Неяк трэба будзе спытаць, колькі часу ўтрымаецца гэты лак на маіх пазногцях без адслойвання.
 
Today I have got "Heaven on Earth" or on my nails :)

It's a polish Misslyn by a German company ICB innovative cosmetic brands GmbH. Can be found here. The price for Misslyn polishes is 4,85€. Not much, but not as cheap as Essence. They claim to offer the best cost/performance ratio. Someday I'll let that polish on my nails and see how long woult it be able to stay without chipping.

It's light blue matte colour like baby-blue.

На наступных фатаграфіях я скарэктавала баланс белага, але не магу з упэўненасцю сказаць, што яны перадаюць сапраўдны колер на ўсе 100%. 

On these pictures I corrected the white balance, but I am still not sure if it shows the shade 100% true.

Раней я збіралася выпрабаваць лак "Неба і Снег" з калекцыі "Гуканне Сібіры" (Catrice) паверх светлай асновы. І вось што атрымалася:

Then I wanted to try out the polish from the Catrice collection Siberian Call over a light base. And here we are:

Тэматычна ўзгоднены ўзор аздобіць акцэнтны пазногаць: шаблон для стэмпінгу Sugar bubbles store special 02. Калі Сібір, то павінны быць маразы і іней на вокнах. 

And for an accent nail I took a stamping plate with the matching theme like frost on window. Sugar bubbles store special 02.

Catrice Siberian Call Sky and Snow

Да Калядаў і Новага Году "Катрыс" (Catrice) выдала асобую тэматычную калекцыю з назвай "Siberian Call" ("Гуканне Сібіры"). Фірма cosnova, якая вырабляе прадукты "Катрыс" і "Эссэнс", знаходзіцца ў Нямеччыне. Гэтыя дзве маркі адносяцца да сэгмента таннай касметыкі, лакі "Эссэнс" каштуюць 1,55 эўра, а "Катрыс" - 2,45. Яны прапануюць вялікую колькасць колераў і шмат прылад для нэйларту. Мне ўдалося набыць толькі адзін лак за нумарам "C03 - Sky and Snow" ("неба і снег"). Ён белавата-празрысты з шымерам ружовага і блакітнага колеру.

About Christmas and New Year Catrice released a limited edition collection "Siberian Call". I bought only one thing from it - a nail lacquer "C03 - Sky and Snow". It's sheer whity with pink and blue shimmer.

З-за празрыстасці нават праз тры слаі бачны пазногаць. Таму я падумала, што гэты лак будзе значна лепей выглядаць на каляровай базе. Тут я на адзін слой Салі Хансэн Інста-Драй Blazing Blue (дарэчы, куплены ў Мінску) паклала адзін слой Sky and Snow.

Since it is so sheer and the main feature is shimmer, I thought it would look more advantageous over some colour base. I painted one coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Blazing Blue and then one coat of Sky and Snow.

Спачатку я дадала яшчэ адзін слой Sky and Snow, а потым настэмпіла сняжынкі з шаблона Sugar Bubbles Store special plate 02. На жаль, пасылка з Бразіліі ішла 6 тыдняў і ўсе святы скончыліся, калі я ўрэшце атрымала шаблоны. Напэўна, я не буду больш нічога замаўляць там, таму што чаканне такі доўгі час проста невыноснае.

Before stamping I added one more coat of Sky and Snow. And this snow flakes are from Sugar Bubbles Store special plate 02. Unfortunately I got this plates soo late that all the festivities were already over, the delivery from Brazil took 6 weeks, so I guess I would never order there again. This waiting was killing me.

Яшчэ я думаю, што Sky and Snow будзе нядрэнна выглядаць паверх светлага лака. Але гэта наступным разам.

Another idea I had for Sky and Snow is to use it over light base. But I'll try it next time.
