Jungle?.. Dschungel!

Hallöchen zum Ende der neunten Staffel von "Ich bin ein Star - Holt mich hier raus!"

Die Staffel 2015 ist jeden Tag als die langweiligste in der Geschichte der Sendung bezeichnet worden. Grüne Langeweile... Ja, kein Zoff, keine bemerkenswerte oder überhaupt welche Ereignisse. Nur Walter allein hat ein bisschen den Schlafmützenhaufen aufgemischt. Dann wurde er rausgewählt und was passiert? Man redet andauernd wieder über Walter. Maren hat es bis zur Dschungel-Krone geschafft, was ich ihr gönne: sie hatte als einzige in diesem Camp Eier in der Hose!

Aus dem gegebenen Anlass gibt es bei  mir eine "Dschungel"-Maniküre.
Über eine hellgrüne Basis habe ich ein paar Farbakzente aufgesponget (hm, gibt's so ein Wort?).  Dann habe ich mit der Schablone von Petla "Wishes" mit dem dunkleren Grün (alessandro mini Voyeuristic Green) Bananenblätter drauf gestempt. Auf dem Ringfinger habe ich Grassmuster von MoYou London mother nature 08.

Und was ich schon seit einer längeren Zeit ausprobieren wollte, ist Stemping mit Transferfolien. Ich dachte, ein paar grün glänzende Tierchen passen in das Blätterdickicht perfekt. Essence-Schablonen haben zwei passende Tiere geliefert: eine Eidechse und eine Schlange. Die Versuche mit den normalen Stemping-Lacken waren nicht so erfolgreich: Transferfolie hat nicht gut gehaftet. Aber von Conny Vogel (in einer FB-Community) gab es einen Tipp, nämlich Modellbaufarben zu benutzen, z.B. von Revell. Und es hat tatsächlich wunderbar geklappt: ich habe zuerst mit der schwarzen Farbe Motive auf die Nägel gestempelt und sofort die Folie darauf gedrückt: und voilà - Eidechse und Schlange sind da!

Damit der holografische Glanz der Folie nicht zertört wird, trage ich zuerst zwei Schichten von einem Acryl-Klarlack auf. Danach kommt eine Schicht von Top-Coat. Obwohl es auf dem Klarlack klar und deutlich geschrieben steht, dass er "nicht gilbend" wäre, hat er wohl trotzdem die Farben unter der Folie beeinflusst: über die Nacht hat er die relativ dunkle grüne Farbe ausgebleicht. Man beachte die Ränder vom Nagel, wo nicht so viel vom Klarlack aufgetragen wurde:

Gut, daraus lernen wir, dass die unteren Schichten eventuell mit einem Überlack zu schützen sind, wenn man nicht gerade so einen Farbenwechsel beabsichtigt.

Kiwi Smoothie

Hello everyone!

I finally tried out the polish I hauled last winter!
It's Dance Legend 949 Kiwi Smoothie from the series Fruity Milk.
This polish is semi-opaque, milky-green with small glitter dots and hexagons in green and gold.
After staying too long on the shelf the glitters went down the bottle. What is more important, this polish dries really slowly. I don't have enough patience to wait... Or am I just hopelessly spoiled with all the super-quick-dry polishes?

Сёння я нарэшце спытала лак для пазногцяў, які я здабыла яшчэ ўзімку, калі была ў Мінску. Гэта лак рускай маркі Dance Legend нумар 949, са смачнай назвай Kiwi Smoothie ("садавінавы кактэйль з ківі"). Назва серыі таксама гучыць салодка: Fruity Milk ("садавінавае малако").
Лак напаўпразрысты, малочна-зялёны, з таксама зялёнымі і залатымі бліскаўкамі, частка з якіх вельмі дробныя, як кропачкі, другая частка - трохі буйнейшыя шасцікутнічкі.
Ад доўгача чакання на паліцы шасцікутнічкі пачалі падаць да дна. Аднак большая праблема - гэта доўгі час на сушэнне лака. Гэты лак сохне вельмі доўга. Мне не хапае цярплівасці на такое чаканне... Можа я дужа спешчаная ўсімі сучаснымі лакамі, якія суперхутка сохнуць?

Heute ist es soweit: Deutschland spielt gegen Argentinien um den ersten Platz.
Das muss natürlich auf meinen Nägeln abgebildet werden.
Glücklicherweise kam die Soccer Mania Platte von Winstonia gerade rechtzeitig zum letzten Spiel an.

Sonst wäre es wieder so wie immer: etwas zum aktuellen Anlass bestellen und erst, wenn es vorbei ist, bekommen.
Jetzt müssen wir nur schauen, wer die Bälle ins Netz schießt. 

Endlich habe ich einen Herzaufkleber von essence Go, go, goal!-Stickers verwendet. Und damit es gerecht ist, kriegt Argentinien von mir auch ein Herzchen.

Image I don't like

Today's theme is an image you don't like. Actually you don't buy images you don't like on purpose, right? But there are some plates in the sets (Cheeky, Gals etc), that I wouldn't choose ever. For example this one:

But here we go with the challenge. :)
This is "watercolor" base with different greens:

Then I stamped with even more green color and added a coat with sparkles:

Lacy

Today I do a many for the theme "Lace" (FB group AiS Sunday challenge).
I gathered already some plates by different makers with lace patterns, so it's a good opportunity to try them on.

Base is Yves Rocher polish 64. Menthe, which is actually dark green of the brilliant green kind. Then I stamped with BBF-04 and light green KONAD polish.
On the accent nail I used Dance Legend Kiwi Smoothie, MoYou Bridal-06 and the Menthe as stamping polish.

White Lilies and Green

Hello,
this time the challenge is stamping over green base.
Essence' green palette is rich, and the polish names are funny. So the base was the polish "L.O.L.".
I made stamping decals from the image of lilies (Bundle Moster BM-314) and painted lilies with white and light green.

I can always pepper my nails with glitter: 

Skyline

Today's skyline is greenish!
The sky is also greenish-blue gradient (Bleu nacre by Ives Rocher, p2 Catch Glow 040 chilly breeze, Catrice  Holo In One, Yves Rocher Menthe). And some blue glitter...

 The images are from the plates Dash-33 and Dash-3. I was disappointed with the Bundle Moster, the image with skyline didn't work for me... And the skyline is "dancing".

Green

The theme green from the GOT Polish Challenge.
I wanted to participate all the time, but the timing was far from being perfect and I did miss it every week. But this time...
I have got some nice green shades, and the oldest of them is the lightest pastel green color with silver mini-glitter. It's Grunge me tender! from the essence limited edition floral Grunge.

The next stripe is catrice Green Days (limited edition Hip Trip).
Over the middle intense green I placed the stripes made in decal technique with chrome light green by Artdeco and also long time owned Voyeuristic Green by alessandro. The image is from Bundle Monster BM-306.

Borders are decorated with green striping tape.

Amazing Emerald Holo

As I wrote on 4th of January, I was spending my holiday money buying Dance Legend. Actually the polishes are nor that cheap for Belarusian conditions. For interesting series like holos and other effect polishes the price was at least about 7.60 € (99000 BYR). For me it was a very good deal, because buying in internet would cost more and cause shipping fee. Moreover the manufacturer doesn't sell outside Russia directly.

One of my new favorites is the emerald green holographic from the collection "New Prism":

It's number 12 and named "Android". Imagine the android mascot robot in this shade!

This time my sister provided her nail space again for my exercises on decal technique.

The accent nail is painted with light green chrome by Artdeco. The stamping image comes from the big stamping plate Dashica SdP J. I coloured it just on stamper with some other polishes.

Holiday Colours

Christmas Winter Challenge - Day 3.
Today's theme is holiday colours (red, green, gold)

Just the day before I found a green glitter by Rival de Loop. 

 This green glitter has a translucent base and thus is good for using over colour base.
Other colours for the mani were:

 I used the Voyeuristic Green by alessandro for the accent nail. The other nails are red with red grained by Maybelline ColourShow series Vintage Leather. Vintage Leather has a matt finish and red glitter inside.

 Then I painted with the greens ( Voyeristic Green, p2 green palm tree, and Rival de loop Effect Green (the new glitter) to paint the christmas trees and the wide stripes on the accent nail. Also gold (Goldfinger by catrice) decorates the trees and Glitz and Glamour by Orly makes a Christmas tree top.

On the accent nail I applied the fimo pieces from essence Happy Holiday series. And a load of top coat, to keep fimo in place.

Inspired by Nature

Day 23 of the Laid Back 31 Day Challenge - Inspired by Nature

Oh my... Seeing what amazing manis the other people created let me think I didn't got inspired at all.

But it's spring and everything greens so why not to let some plants sprout on my nails?

I used plant patterns from Gals Princess set GA37 and GA35 over the fake OPI gargantuan green grape. As stamping polish I used Voyeuristic Green by alessandro which is opaque and has metallic shimmer.

St. Patrick's Day

The St. Patrick's Day is today, and that means GREEN is the king!

I've got some fake O.P.I. Gargantuan Green Grape :( It's just another shade of light green as I've seen it in the shops. Cheap ebay-deal from Hongkong... It's still a good colour anyway.
So I used it for all my nails except the accent nail. For the latter one I used Catrice C05 Planet Tokyo (limited edition Neo Geisha - I don't know who created this series, but to tell the truth, I can't assosiate any of the offered colours with geishas, because they include very intense colours of violet, green and so on).And I really had to use my new plates from nailsways Spring collection.

Then I thought it isn't enogh and added some glittering polish to the leaves and some white (and black) glitter to the base.
