Green

The theme green from the GOT Polish Challenge.
I wanted to participate all the time, but the timing was far from being perfect and I did miss it every week. But this time...
I have got some nice green shades, and the oldest of them is the lightest pastel green color with silver mini-glitter. It's Grunge me tender! from the essence limited edition floral Grunge.

The next stripe is catrice Green Days (limited edition Hip Trip).
Over the middle intense green I placed the stripes made in decal technique with chrome light green by Artdeco and also long time owned Voyeuristic Green by alessandro. The image is from Bundle Monster BM-306.

Borders are decorated with green striping tape.

Inspired by Nature

Day 23 of the Laid Back 31 Day Challenge - Inspired by Nature

Oh my... Seeing what amazing manis the other people created let me think I didn't got inspired at all.

But it's spring and everything greens so why not to let some plants sprout on my nails?

I used plant patterns from Gals Princess set GA37 and GA35 over the fake OPI gargantuan green grape. As stamping polish I used Voyeuristic Green by alessandro which is opaque and has metallic shimmer.

Oldest Untried

Day 18 of the Laid Back 31 Day Challenge - Oldest Untried

There were so many polishes I almost forgot about I couln't deside, what to do. So I excavated from the bottom of my polish pile a set "Chrystal PUNK" by alessandro. As I remember I could get it for half the price.

The set consists of a black polish and of a top coat with blue flakies. According to the package the effect of them is called "Blue rocks the club".

When they are inside the bottle the flakies are shimmering mysteriously with ghostly blue tones.

Over the black base they look different, more solid, especialy on photographs.

I liked the look in real better then photo, because you don't really see borders of the single flakies.

Spiritual Venture

Today I wear the bright and intense orange shade with metallic effect.

It's alessandro Spiritual Venture from the winter collection "Catch me!". Doesn't it look spicy?
I stamped over it with Catrice Bruno Brownani and alessandro Shadow Street (opaque grey colour with silver shimmer):

The stamping plate is one of two newer releases by essence. It's a shame, they don't give proper numbers or names to their plates. Every time different designs are called like "02 style it up!". These particular designs remind me of mesoamerican textiles. Not exactly, but still a hint of it...

Saran Wrap

Day 9 of laid back 31 days challenge - Saran wrap.

This is a technique to use the saran wrap (dt. Frischhaltefolie) on the second still wet layer, which is painted over another well dried colour. The saran wrap takes some amount of the polish irregularly so that some mix of two colours is created.

As a base I took "las vegas" by Misslyn. The second colour is "Dramatic Blossom" by alessandro. 

The second layer looks darker then the colour really is. Inm y opinion it looks more like crackle polish.

Favourite Colour Family

Day 6 of the Laid back 31 days challenge. My favourite colour family is purplish-rose, like antique pink.

I chose a shade of intense dusk pink by alessandro "Dramatic Blossom". Unfortunately my camera wasn't able to depict the colour exactly. This two pics were the closest to the original.

For the accent nail I used striping tape and another polish by alessandro "Midnight Rebel" which is purple with shimmer.

Laid back 31 days challenge. Day 5 - purple.

I wanted to try striping tape mani which was done by someone for Christmas themes. There is alessandro Dramatic Blossom as base, alessandro Midnight Rebel, Misslyn las vegas and essence topper 03 Crazy in Love from "hugs & kisses" over the base.
